Do you think that the 35mm cameras is the best travel photography? In this article, I will show you various examples and why; I will also explain why digital cameras are now considered to be the best travel photography devices today. By the time of the writing of this article (February 2020), I have traveled for over half of my life and have accumulated quite a few photographs with various types of cameras.
If you are traveling to a different continent, then I would recommend using a good old compact digital camera as your camera. These devices are very handy, light weight and have excellent image quality. However, if you are just going to travel in your home country, then a good quality compact digital camera may not be possible. As an alternative, I would recommend using a point-and-shoot camera as your travel photography tool.
The best compact digital camera is an Olympus PEN E-P3. This type of camera has great image quality. Even though it is compact, it has a wide lens that will allow you to take a good photograph in any condition, even at night. Moreover, if you are traveling with a group of friends or family members, then I would suggest that you use this type of camera as you would get great pictures that are not only of high quality but also have that personal touch that only professional photographers can provide. However, if you are traveling alone, then the Olympus PEN E-P3 will prove to be the perfect travel photography device.
When you want to choose the best digital camera for your trip, it is advisable that you go for a device with a good megapixels. The higher the megapixels, the better your quality of the photographs and the better your resolution, which mean, the larger the pixels, the higher your resolution. So, it is highly advisable that you select a device with more than 400 megapixels if you are going to travel alone.
The next thing that you should keep in mind while choosing the digital camera is whether you will be using it for a short period of time or a long term trip. There are devices with many megapixels and low cost but not good resolution. whereas there are devices with very high megapixels, a high resolution and low cost but not good quality. Therefore, you should select a device with some kind of compromise.
Then, after considering these factors, you will need to check the features of each type of device. Some of them may have flash and some may not and some will have all those features plus the ability to view images from SD cards, and some will also have both of those features.
